La onda larga, radiación electromagnética de la radiación térmica emitida por los objetos calientes. En el espectro electromagnético, que se encuentra entre la radiación de microondas y la luz visible. El vapor de agua, ozono y dióxido de carbono son capaces de absorber o transmitir la radiación infrarroja. También se conoce como IR.
