Perqendrimi i matur ne mol te tretur per nje kilogram tretsire. Per shembull, nje tretesire 1 m e NaCl permban 1 mol te NaCl per kilogram uje. Ne eksperimente ku perfshihen ndryshime te temteratures se tretesirave preferohet te perdoret me shume molaliteti se sa molariteti, psh. ekspreimentet ne kalorimetri dhe te renies se temperatures deri ne piken e ngrirjes.
