Суперзасићени раствор има концентрацију растворне супстанце која је већа од његове растворљивости. Кристал растворне супстанце у суперзасићеном раствору нараста; вишак растворне супстанце се издваја из раствора све док концентрација не падне до равнотежне растворљивости.
